| Personal History | Kit grew up on the Federation colony on Caldos. The youngest of four, and the only girl, she quickly learned how to hold her own against her very rambunctious brothers. Kit's mother died when Kit was seven, following a long battle with a dementia-like illness. Though she traditionally grew up with little technology around the house, her father and older brothers worked on the weather control stations that maintained the planetary climate. Kit's father passed away when she was sixteen, and she took the opportunity to leave her planetary home. She took a civilian maintenance position on Starbase 4112 for four years before enrolling in Starfleet Academy. |
